Whether we've moved here recently or many years ago, we all deserve the freedom to give our families a better life. But today, some politicians are attempting to take away these freedoms by introducing laws that block people from land and business ownership based on where they're from and what they look like. These laws are similar to the Alien Land Laws in the early 20th century that prevented Asian immigrants from owning land. Just as we have defeated these laws in the past, we can join together - from Dallas to Sugarland and from the Gulf Coast to the panhandle - to protect our freedoms again.

No matter our color, background, or zip code, we want our children to have an honest and accurate education. This includes learning about how Asian Americans have played a crucial role in shaping the fabric of our nation. We aim to integrate comprehensive Asian American history lessons into Texas K-12 curriculum, highlighting key contributions, movements, and figures. By joining together, we can make our schools places where every child belongs and can thrive.

Immigrant Americans move here for the promise of freedoms that all of us - Black or white, Latino or Asian cherish. But today, some politicians stoke fear against new immigrants to distract us while they deny our families the things we all need to thrive. By joining together once again, we can implement a fair and compassionate immigration system that advances freedom, safety, and wellbeing for all families.
